Jun: Phoebe Flyby
- Cassini passes by Phoebe,
one of Saturn's most mysterious moons. The Cassini imaging team will
take pictures during the flyby to detect
visible features and also what sorts of organic materials are found on
this moon.

1 Jul: Saturn Orbit Insertion
- Cassini performs a maneuver
to enter Saturn's orbit by traveling through a gap in Saturn's rings.
- Download

28 Jul: DISR Team Meeting
18 Nov: DISR Team Meeting
25 Dec: Probe Separation
- The Huygens probe will separate
from Cassini and begin its 20-day coast toward Titan.

14 Jan: Probe Descent
- Huygens will fall through Titan's thick atmosphere, collecting data
during the parachute-assisted descent.
