Components

The RAC was designed and developed in collaboration between the Max Planck Institute for Aeronomy and the University of Arizona Lunar and Planetary Laboratory under the direction of H. Uwe Keller (MPAe) and Peter H. Smith (UA). The following table shows the contributions from the two insitutions. The RAC components were assembled at the Max Planck Institute, and the Flight Model RAC is currently undergoing testing and calibration at the University of Arizona.

Red indicates parts supplied by UA Lunar and Planetary Lab,
Blue indicates parts supplied by the Max Planck Institute for Aeronomy.
