Holbrook Meteorite

On July 19, 1912, residents of Navajo County observed a smoky trail in the sky followed by explosions and a shower of stones. Approximately 14000 specimens were recovered with a combined total weight of 481 lbs.

The strewn field measured three miles long and a half-mile wide. The re-assembled diameter of the Holbrook asteroid is half a meter, which is 2 to 4 times smaller than the Gold Basin asteroid.
