Authenticated impact craters on these maps are based in part on the work of the Regional Geophysics Section of Natural Resources Canada and the University of New Brunswick Department of Geology. We refer interested readers to their site for additional information: http://www.unb.ca/passc/ImpactDatabase/
The University of Arizona Space
Imagery site, which you are now visiting, is designed to explore the environmental
and biological consequences associated with these various impact events.
This is a new area of study, so information of this type is not yet available
for many impact craters. However, as new results appear in the peer-reviewed
literature, details for each crater will be added to this site.
