Conferences |
In response to the surveys from the last LPLC, we decided to go back to May for this year's conference. It will be a bit later in May than in the past, to avoid overlap with the Spring AGU.
The Lunar and Planetary Laboratory Conference (LPLC) is a two-day conference, organized and run by the PtyS graduate students, devoted to the work that is going on within our own LPL community. It is the hope of the organizing committee that faculty, postdocs, graduate students, and research staff will take this opportunity to share their progress and activities with each other.
The conference will be held on Tuesday, May 25 and Wednesday, May 26, 2004, at the Tanque Verde Ranch, the same location as last year. Talks and poster sessions will be held all day on both days with sessions chaired and AV support provided by the PtyS graduate students. Lunch and breaks will be provided on both days and there will be a reception, on a patio overlooking the Tucson valley, with hors d'oeuvres and a cash bar at the close of activities on Friday evening.
Again this year we will be having electronic abstract submission and registration. Please be sure to watch your e-mail for further announcements.
