The 8th
Lunar and Planetary Laboratory Conference
May 17-18, 2005
Tanque Verde Ranch, Tucson, AZ

Registration is closed.

First Announcement

The Lunar and Planetary Laboratory Conference (LPLC) is a two-day conference, organized and run by the PtyS graduate students, devoted to the work that is going on within our own LPL community. It is the hope of the organizing committee that faculty, postdocs, graduate students, and research staff will take this opportunity to share their progress and activities with each other.

The conference will be held on Tuesday, May 17 and Wednesday, May 18, 2005, at the Tanque Verde Ranch, the same location as the last several years. Talks and poster sessions will be held all day on both days with sessions chaired and AV support provided by the PtyS graduate students. Lunch and breaks will be provided on both days and there will be a reception, on a patio overlooking the Tucson valley, with hors d'oeuvres and a cash bar at the close of activities on Wednesday evening.

There will again be electronic abstract submission and registration. In addition, we will be publishing the abstracts online and providing a simple schedule at Tanque Verde. Please be sure to watch your e-mail for further announcements.
