Information on the Technical Session
The 11th LPLC features a technical session to be conducted in parallel with the science session. This new session will provide a forum for the members of LPL's technical staff to share their expertise and experiences with each other for the benefit of all. We will address topics in the the following broad categories:
- Software development
- Hardware development and instrument design
- Spacecraft mission operations
This year, we have decided to thread the topics according to the following
set of sub-sessions.
- Data Analysis
- Data Archive
- Data Visualizations
- Software Systems
- Languages
- User Interfaces
- Web Applications
- Concurrency
- Mission Planning Software
- Software Project Management
- User Demo
We have included a "User Demo" section for the conference. This is a oppturnity
for software developers who have created tools, typically in support of
spaceflight missions, to showcase them for the science comminity at large.
During the user demo, software or databases can be shown during the science portion
of the confernce. The goal is to let scientists see what tools are available to
non-science-team members.
We invite you to submit abstracts for oral or poster presentations in these categories or in any related technical category. The standard LPLC abstract submission guidelines apply.
The Technical Session will be on Monday only
