RESEARCH INTERESTS
Dr. Rogers studies the solar dynamo. This involves studying the hydrodynamics and magnetohydrodynamics of stellar interiors in general and in particular in the Sun.

She uses large scale numerical simulations in two and three dimensions to study the interactions of turbulence, waves and magnetic fields.

While mainly focused on the solar interior, Tami is interested in fluid dynamics in general, as applied to stellar and planetary interiors and atmospheres.
