Picture Gallery: Berlin and Prague

After Italy, we trained across Switzerland to Basel, then off to Berlin for the Meteoritical Society Meeting. At the end of the week, Kim was off to London while Jen, Barb and I pushed on for Prague for a few days. While Prague was perhaps my favorite city on the trip, we didn't have too many good pictures from the latter part of our journey...

Jen straddling the fast-disappearing Berlin Wall.

Dante, Barb, Tom, Brazz, Jen and I drinking the metric equivalent of a yard of beer.

I pretend to explain my Meteoritcal Society poster to Kim, who pretends to listen.

Barb, Linda and Jen at the Meteoritical Society banquet. Much beer was had.

After three weeks out of the USA, you start to miss things. Apparently, my hair was missing something, too.

More food and drink from the top of (former East) Berlin's rotating TV tower.

Jen, Barb and I on the Charles Bridge in Prague. Prague Castle is behind us.

The interior of the oldest surviving synagogue in Europe- the "Old-New Synagogue". It was build around the same time as Notre Dame, and is even in a Gothic style.

Barb and I on the Charles Bridge again, with a better view of the city.
