Cucumber Canape 1

Ingredients:
• small rounds of bread
• butter
• cucumber, sliced round
• tiny shrimp
• mayonnaise
• lemon thyme

Slice cucumbers into rounds. Hollow out center of each round. Drain cucumber well.

Spread bread slices lightly with butter. Place a cucumber slice on each round and fill the hollow with a tiny shrimp. Decorate each sandwich with a dab of mayonnaise and a sprig of lemon thyme.

Cucumber Canape 2

Ingredients:
• small rounds of buttered toast
• cucumber, sliced round
• french dressing
• mild onion, sliced thinly
• caviar, seasoned with lemon or chives
• capers
• hard-boiled egg, riced

Dip sliced cucumbers into french dressing and drain. Separare onion into rings. Place an onion ring on each slice of toast. Place a slice of cucumner in each ring. Cover the cucumber with caviar, and garnish with capers and hard-boiled egg.
