Field Photos

My field research has focused on characterizing brittle strain localization around slipped faults. In the field, I have primarily focused on characterizing the mechanics of deformation band nucleation and propagation, as well as studying the effect of Coulomb stress change on reactivating preexisting fractures. Results of this work have been published, are in review, or are in preparation.
