The Far Corners of Creation: Organizations, Ships, Etc.

Known Ships: The Brotherhood Of The Golden Serpent: A secret organization discovered in Diamond Hearth; they appear to be a criminal group owing allegiance to someone known as the Golden Serpent. Arroyo was mistaken for this individual due to his golden cobra anima banner. Asher Halfhand is the highest known member of this group, which is believed to be responsible for the death of Chame Nu's parents. The Crimson Pearl Armada: The second largest pirate group in the Coral Archipelago. Known Ships: The Golden Barque Armada: A smaller pirate group in the Coral Archipelago. The Immaculate Order: A monastic order which runs the religion of the Realm, followers of the Immaculate Philosophy. Monks encountered in the campaign include Sesus Hassop and Nellens Gyrath (or at least his ghost). The Immaculate Philosophy is based on a foundation of there being a definite hierarchy in life, with good being based on following the hierarchy and evil coming from defying it. At the top of the hierarchy are the Five Elemental Dragons, whose Chosen are the Dragon-Blooded. Everyone else comes below the Dragon-Blooded, but there are multiple chains of command, so that it is the Immaculate Order's exclusive job to deal with gods and elementals. Mortals are supposed to follow their betters and avoid dealing with spirits entirely. The Pale Brotherhood: A smaller pirate group in the Coral Archipelago. The Rocinante: Roan's yacht. She Who Sails Before The Brilliance Of The Sun: formerly the Scarlet Emerald, this ship was captured by the Circle from the Crimson Pearl Armada and reworked by Hunter into a vessel that could carry the Rocinante hidden within it. The Siaka's Embrace: A Lintha pirate ship, pulled by a monstrous sea worm and captained by someone who was clearly not quite mortal. The Circle interrupted its attack on the Western Blessing and captured it, sailing it to Eagle's Launch. The Tya:A loose society of female sailors from the Wavecrest Archipelago and surrounding islands. Cultural mores in this area restrict sailing to men while simultaneously elevating it to the highest role in society. The Tya reject their role and are recognized as not-women (the term Tya derives from a negation of the female pronoun in Seatongue). To be Tya, one must be female and drink a bitter contraceptive concoction on a regular basis. It is possible to move back and forth between woman and Tya, but few ever make the switch more than once, and almost none more than twice. The Tya face heavy prejudice in the Coral Archipelago, but receive more respect elsewhere. The Varajtul Cannibals: The dominant society on Varaj, the Varajtul cannibals are Wyld-twisted or beast-bred barbarians who feed on the cowed, sheep-like town dwellers who live on the fringes of the island, as well as anyone else they can catch. They average about eight feet tall, and are marked by thick fur and impressive fangs. They have demonstrated an unusual capability for manipulating the Wyld and sometimes devour their prey alive in the Wyld, drawing forth their victims' essence and adding it to their own in a not well understood fashion. The Western Blessing: A Realm passenger ship which was attacked and sunk by the Siaka's Embrace on its way to Arjuf. The passengers were rescued by the Circle.
