The Law Of Intrigue: +3 to Stealth. +3 to Charm and Persuade attempts based on deception. +3 to Tricks. +3 to bribery attempts. +1 Level of Success to Disguise. Traitors are common.
The Law Of Profit: The rich get richer, the poor get poorer.
The Law of Vengeance: If you can achieve vengeance for a serious wrong, you get 6 Possibilities.
Nippon Tech is the label given to the idea that Japan has been invaded. This odd phrasing is necessary because there is not much in the way of evidence: there are no occupying troops, no inhuman creatures wandering around, no evidence of magic or miracles, no restriction of technology, and most critically, no reality storms.
What evidence there is: Technology seems to be just a _bit_ better (but that could be Japanese quality workmanship, or some sort of natural variation). Miracles seem to be just a _bit_ harder (Japanese pragmatism? Natural variation?). Magic is _much_ weaker (again, pragmatism or natural variation?). The weather has been very strange since the invasion, with continual fogs and lots of little storms (but Japanese meteorologists blame this on the nearby realm of Orrorsh and what its border storms have done to the weather patterns). Japanese companies seem to be tied up in all sorts of strange, invasion-related projects (but they've always been aggressive).
But the one critical piece of evidence is that a number of corporate properties have been seen to be defended by gospog. Unfortunately for those who would convince the public, these gospog are disguised by suits of armor and are not obvious. Of course, it is always possible that some corporation has made a deal with one of the invaders, buying gospog in return for something else...
If it has been invaded, Japan is the least obviously affected country of them all, but it is not untouched. The social fabric of Japan has been slowly unravelling, with the fabled loyalty of sararimen to the company rotting away as fast as the zaibatsus' loyalty to their workers. Homelessness and crime are becoming rampant, as pollution soars out of control. Who can say where it will all end up?
The one corporation which has been most consistently associated with dubious projects is the Kanawa corporation.
