What exactly is the deal with gospog?
There are a variety of forms of gospog. The base form is a sort of plant-person. This form has been seen in the Living Land, Aysle, the Cyberpapacy, Orrorsh, and the Nile Empire, and has often been used in attacks on Core Earth.
Gospog are created through a process which includes planting seeds in a field of corpses. Base form gospog are formed in a week. The field can then apparently be resown with corpses and a new kind of seed to make '2nd Planting Gospog' which take 3 weeks. The process is repeated for '3rd Planting Gospog' which takes 5 weeks. The 4th Planting takes 7 weeks. The 5th planting takes 9 weeks. No evidence for plantings beyond the fifth has been found. (If the process is carried on with no breaks between crops, one can go from a field to a 5th Planting gospog crop in 25 weeks.)

Gospog in the living land have been seen using Core Earth weaponry, and references to a plan to arm Aysle gospog with CE weaponry have been found as well, while Nippon Tech gospog have been observed using Nippon-level technology. This suggests that either gospog are not reality-limited, may be set to either the invading or invaded cosms, or possibly something else.
A Note On Nippon Gospog
All Nippon gospog are superficially similar: a suit of samurai-style armor containing the usual vegetable matter. However, the exact equipment the gospog is carrying, as well as their general toughness seems to vary. It is hypothesized that this corresponds to which planting the gospog is. Based on this hypothesis, they may fit the following description.
