The Army Of Light is what the faction who aligned themselves with Lady Pella Ardinay at the outbreak of the Ayslish civil war call themselves. The name is intended to contrast with the Army Of The Dark, which is what they call the opposing faction.
Tolwyn Of House Tancred: The leader of Aysle's armies during the
invasion of Aysle by Uthorion a century ago.
Surviving the war, she was imprisoned by Uthorion/Ardinay> instead of being
killed due to the prophecy he had received. (The prophecy stated that the
greatest of those who had died would come back for vengeance. Feeling that
Tolwyn was greater than any of those had died, he didn't want to make things
worse for himself.) Tolwyn was, instead, accused of treason and put into an
enchanted sleep, from which she was only released after Ardinay regained her
body. She is the leader of Ardinay's armies, and was gravely wounded
in the Hadrian's Massacre.
Kent Edgeworth: A curator of the British Museum. It was his misfortune to come across the Possibility Chalice in the Museum's storage after transforming to Ayslish reality and learning enough magic to recognize it as an item of power. His investigations into its history and properties alerted several parties to its existence, including the Dark Wizard Amethyst, who had Edgeworth kidnapped. Under the torturing hands of Amethyst, Edgeworth gave up the location of the chalice and was left to die, which he did. The group found him in his last moments, but were unable to help him.
Grimbeard: A dwarf who knew Isa Tharend in the days before Uthorion invaded Aysle. He survived the invasion, and the long century that followed. When Aysle invaded Earth, under the pretext that our world was the one that had invaded them a century earlier, Grimbeard came along. Once in our world, however, he found he could not believe the story he had been told, and he decided to explore for a while and learn what he could. He joined Fugitve Group C in the Nile Empire, and was later killed by Victor Kingman. Kingman later raised him as a zombie and sent him against Fugitive Group C in the Forever City, where he was killed again and laid to rest properly.
Gutterby:A dwarf who knew Isa Tharend in the days before Uthorion's invasion of Aysle. He identified her for the more skeptical members of Ardinay's court.
Lord Talbot Whimsey: A young man, in his early twenties, who seems to have a lot of responsibility and connections for his age. He first appeared as the agent of the power company consortium that was dealing with the aftermath of Don Pyrus' monopoly attempt. Since then, he has served as a liason between Fugitive Group C and the British government, Fugitive Group C and the Sons Of David, and Fugitive Group C and Ardinay's Court.
