The Sons Of David
The Sons Of David is a nickname for what seems to be an informal and
benign conspiracy, for lack of a better term. It represents an
observation by the members of Fugitive Group C that they had encountered
a number of high-ranking military officers, from a number of countries,
with names that were variants of Davidson. Its purpose, extent, and
resources are unknown.
-
ben-David, Colonel
:
In the Mossad, Col. Ben-David
was the first Son of David whom the group met. He helped them get
out of the
Nile Empire
and to Atlanta to track JF8.
-
Davidez, Commander
:
In the Spanish Army, Commander Davidez
met Fugitive Group C when they gated from the Forever City to prevent a
ravagon from killing him. He was the man who put them in touch with
Colonel FitzDavid.
-
Davidson, Brigadier General
:
One of the highest ranking
officers in what remains of the British Army, General Davidson has
never actually been met by Fugitive Group C. His name fits, though.
-
FitzDavid, Colonel
:
Colonel FitzDavid was a general in the
US Army, in charge of all US Forces remaining in Germany. When the
US pulled all of its forces back, FitzDavid refused, citing the
uselessness of his armor units in the environment of the Living Land,
and the dangers involved in trying to transport his forces through
the then-storm-wracked world. Promptly resigning his commission, he
was joined by a rather large portion of his troops, who were gratefully
accepted by the Germans. Given the rank of Colonel, FitzDavid has put
together a large number of specially trained forces for the new
European environment; Fugitive Group C is his personal pride and joy,
having accomplished more than nearly anyone else.
-
MacDavid, Lieutenant Colonel
:
Commanding officer of the
German/British/Irish forces in the Irish
Core Earth/Aysle
mixed zone.
