The Nile Empire is home to a nearly unending supply of blackhearted villains, cunning scoundrels, and craven blackguards. A more wretched hive of scum and...nevermind.
Dr. Mobius, Pharoah Of The New Empire Of The Nile, Destroyer Of Worlds, Evil Mastermind Supreme
The Insidious Wu Han
The Red Asp: The Red Asp was secretly Eve, sister of the Queen from the Royal Flush Gang, though she made it seem to most people that the Red Asp was a man, and that she was his mistress. She governed Texas for Mobius, but later went independent. After her defeat by FGC, she disappeared; she resurfaced after the end of the war as a crimelord.
Captain Achmedi: Captain Achmedi was an ambitious officer in the service of Dr. Mobius. Assigned to work under The Insidious Wu Han on the Destiny Map operation, he resented his superior and often quarreled bitterly with him.
When Fugitive Group C stole the Destiny Map tiles from the Living Land dig, he led the chase after them, and was only eluded with great difficulty.
Later, when the Nile forces had caught up to the group at the cave of the Destiny Map, he led the assault that broke into the cave, where he was killed in a gun battle.
First Encountered: July 10, 1993
Later Encounters: July 17, 1993 (Died)
Dreadnought: Dreadnought is a pulp villain from Terra, brought to our world by Dr. Mobius. He has clashed with Fugitive Group C twice; first in a running battle on the streets of London, and then in defense of a base in Ireland.
During the London battle, he took everything the group could throw at him and ended up capturing Mike Robinson, and escaping with the Idol of Osiris.
In the Ireland battle, Ta'eesh invoked a reality storm upon him, transforming him to an Ayslish ogre.
Before his transformation, he had the power to generate a nearly impenetrable force field around himself. He was also inhumanly strong.
Mal Mu'Ein was an agent of the Insidious Wu Han, who was dealing with the
Kanawa Corporation for the Destiny Map tiles. He was to hand over the tiles
found by Wu Han in exchange for cash and the plans to manufacture an
atomic bomb.
As part of a doublecross, however, he was having the Tiles translated
and investigated so that the Map could be followed before it was handed
over. When this was discovered, he was killed, along with the geneaologist
he was consulting, William Barker. The killings
were done by a team of ninja under the command of
Osato.
When the group stole his Digging Machine, Sharif vowed revenge, but didn't get a shot at it until much later, when Isa, Mike, and Holmes discovered his Hypnoprojector in Abu-ben-gharadiq. He came out on the losing side there, too, when Isa invoked the power of Dunad and he was engulfed in flames, rather than trip the trap he had laid for them.
Surviving this, but horribly burned, Sharif built a weird science exoskeleton, a powerful suit of armor powered by steam and with a deadly solar cannon. Finding Fugitive Group C in the Land Below, he attempted to destroy them, but Mike disabled the suit's gyros and Sharif fell off a cliff into the mists below, swearing vengeance on Mike as he fell.
Much later, he returned as bodyless brain controlling the Flying Pyramid. Mike hotwired the pyramid's controls and activated Sharif's ejection pod, then blasted it with the pyramid's Solar Cannon.
