Kaloob is a lallap, a priest of the goddess Raya, who is embodied as the sun of the Land Below. When the Kefee Haroo were troubled by strange dreams, and disturbances among neighboring peoples, Kaloob had a dream that led him into strange tunnels that led up to our world, in search of Fugitive Group C. He met them in Guatemala, when they were on the trail of Damien Foxmoor.
Shortly after hooking up with the group, he acquired an inseparable companion: a giant bat, which he named Zotz. Zotz was able to carry Yewshoot, at least for short distances. While in Hong Kong, however, Zotz was transformed to Orrorshan reality and had to be killed.
During that same visit, Yewshoot was wounded by Kantaro, a werewolf, infecting him with lycanthropy. This was later followed by Yewshoot getting transformed to Nile reality and then getting converted to the faith of Dunad.
