H'hodaraak was born into the tribe of Phaa, in the Long Valley. In touch with the love of Lanala, he became an optant in due time. When Baruk Kaah rose to power as Saar, H'hodaraak was troubled but went along with his rule; surely Baruk Kaah could not have risen to power unless Lanala willed it. But H'hodaraak's mind was to slowly change, as he witnessed the perversions of nature that Kaah's gotaks performed.
After the invasion of Core Earth, H'hodaraak had had enough and left his tribe to see what he could of this new world, new experiences. After helping save some humans from some of those edeinos who still followed Kaah, he joined with them and followed them, seeing as much as he could of this strange new world.
H'hodaraak swam under the sea and helped restart the Earth. He fought a vampire in the south Pacific and an airplane come to life over the Indian ocean. He wounded dragons in Scotland and England. He finally fell to the spells of a faerie crime boss outside London. He was buried with honors at a monastery he had cleansed of undead. Later, his body was raised as a zombie by the vampire Dr. Victor Kingman, and had to be destroyed to let his spirit finally rest and rejoin Lanala.
