Biography

Ta'eesh was conceived of a liaison between an unknown elvish noble and the Entity God, Corba'al, as part of a plan by Corba'al to gain an avatar. Corba'al hoped that by experiencing something of mortality, it would gain knowledge of mortals and gain more worshippers. Unfortunately for Corba'al's plans, the parents had a midwife speed the birth up, so their child would not be born during the Hour of the Entity. The result was that Malekith, who had the proper temperament to be an avatar of Corba'al, was not born during the Entity Hour, but that the unexpected second child, Ta'eesh, was so born.

Ta'eesh was secretly sent off to a poor family, who dedicated him to the gof Elmiir. Elmiir's influence and the child's innocence shielded him from the awareness of Corba'al. During the invasion of Earth, however, Ta'eesh decided he needed to see the world and experience it. His good intentions were backed up by a willingness to do whatever evil was necessary to accomplish them, and he quickly began the slide to Corruption and Corba'al's influence.

Coming to Earth, he ended up a prisoner of Shocktroopers in the Land Below and was rescued by Fugitive Group C. Accompanying them, he helped out by masquerading as Malekith, a disHonorable deed. Later, an attempt to get more information out of a captured prisoner led to more Corruption, and his path was set. The one bright spot in his existence was when he fell in love with Dominique Chevalier.

His time with Fugitive Group C was marked by several recurring themes. One was the continuing appearance of Umbras, who turned out to be a follower of Corba'al, trying to lure Ta'eesh down the path of Corruption. The second was a series of visions and supernatural assists from Corba'al, though Corba'al did not identify itself in these. The third was his previously noted tendency to do whatever was necessary, regardless of its morality; the high point here was probably when he stabbed the possessed body of Cyberpope Jean Malreaux in the back.

Eventually, when he had hit rock-bottom in his morality, he felt he needed to do something to redeem himself...an opinion shared by the other members of Fugitive Group C. Since he had come to suspect his parentage, the group travelled to the End Of The World, where Corba'al waited. After Corba'al took over his body, Ta'eesh held himself motionless to let Fujiwara kill him and injure Corba'al...though not before Corba'al/Ta'eesh had wreaked havoc on the group.

Shortly before his death, Ta'eesh had replaced his left eye with the red Eye of Sharn. With Ta'eesh's death, the whereabouts, or even existence, of the Eye are unknown.
