Ninjitsu

Ninjitsu is an art of secrecy, of stealth, of invisibility. It is an art that depends on being where you cannot be, and not being seen while you are there. Its practitioners must swear never to reveal its secrets, except to a student who has sworn the same oath.

Prerequisites

To learn ninjitsu, a character must have at least one add in Stealth, Lockpicking, and Prestidigitation. They must also swear the oath of secrecy as mentioned above.

Disciplines

  1. Block/Strike: With this maneuver, the character may block a MA-style attack (One using Martial Arts, Missile Weapons, Melee Weapons, or Unarmed Combat) and also attack. Unlike a Multi-Action, two separate die rolls are made. The Block has a DN of the target's attack skill, and if successful, blocks that attack. The Strike is a standard Martial Arts Strike. In flurry rounds, 1 Block and 2 Strikes are made.

  2. Felling The Oak: This maneuver does STR+4.

  3. Lightning Fist: This maneuver allows two attacks without being a Multiaction. It may not be performed on two consecutive rounds and may not be performed during Flurry rounds.

  4. Missile Dodge: This maneuver gives +2 to defense versus Missile Weapons attacks (whether Dodge or Martial Arts skill is used). It may be used with either passive or active defense.

  5. Stunning Attack: This attack does +2 damage, but Knock Downs are ignored, and the first wound becomes a Knock Down result.

  6. Invisibility: +4 to Stealth, but a -2 to PER and MIND while using it.

  7. Weapon Master: +2 to Martial Arts skill with one class of weapon.

  8. True Invisibility: +5 Stealth, costs 2 P-points, requires a new roll every ten minutes.
