Tai Chi

Tai Chi is a traditional Chinese style of Martial Arts, which also serves as a fitness and flexibility regimen.

Prerequisites

To learn Tai Chi, a character must have at least one add in Meditation and Maneuver.

Disciplines

  1. Palm Strike: This attack does STR+3.

  2. Stunning Attack: This attack does +2 damage, but Knock Downs are ignored, and the first wound becomes a Knock Down result.

  3. Entangle: This attack does a 'Double Knock Down'. It requires two actions to recover from (Instant Up reduces this to one action).

  4. Weapon Break: This Active Defense automatically Strikes any weapon used in an unsuccessful attack on the character.

  5. Sweeping Kick: This attack does a Knock Down if successful; this KD may not be bought off.

  6. Hail Of Blows: The character may make an extra attack in two consecutive rounds. Afterwards, however, they are Fatigued and Unskilled for one round.

  7. Iron Fist: STR+6 Damage

  8. Wind Running: +2 to Running (and Running Limit Values). +2 to defense while Wind Running. 1 P-point every fifteen minutes.
