Campaign Timeline

January 1995

1/7/95
The group sets out for Aysle proper, crossing the Oxford maelstrom bridge. Khrom acquires a suit of plate mail in Oxford.

1/10/95
While crossing the fringes of Tharend lands, the group dispatches a group of goblin bandits led by a giant.
1/11/95
The group arrives at the Valley of the Winds, the holiest site of Dunad.

1/12/95
Visiting the 'tomb' of Dunad, Fujiwara is given the Eternal Sword Reforged, sometimes known as Excalibur or Durendal.

1/14/95
Reaching the port of Thay, the group learns that the lands of House Tharend are a stronghold of the Dark. Not being able to do anything about it right now, they set sail for Elveim, working their way on a galley.
1/15/95
Simon Carrlaunches a surprise invasion of Russia, using an army of undead. The army has been assembled with impressive speed due to an alliance he has made with Corba'al.

1/17/95
With their psychics blinded by Ayslish mages, the Russian forces are not prepared for the Ayslish offensive, especially in the middle of winter, and St. Petersburg falls. Realizing that the traditional Russian tactics will not work against an army that does not need food and does not feel the cold, the Russians quickly begin building a massive force concentration at Moscow, where it is hoped that the Kremlin will be a hardpoint.
1/18/95
Even as the group sails across the seas of Aysle, Fujiwara appears in Russia, courtesy of a portal-pool he will enter two weeks in the future. He joins the fight against Simon Carr's army of undead.

1/19/95
Arrving at Elvenhome, the only port near Elveim where humans are allowed, Fujiwara meets an old friend of his family, Ishidoru Nagata, who loans the group a boat big enough to reach the Bay Of Mists.
1/20/95
The group finds the castle of Alianora. They make their way through many layers of illusion-based defenses, thanks to the Red Eye Of Sharn. Inside, they find and rescue Ambrose. Much to their surprise, they also find the soul of Leroy Washington, but are unable to rejoin it to Khrom, and instead put it in the body of Sparks. They also discover, much to their shock, that Alianora is none other than Jack Blue.

1/21/95
At Elvenhome, the group returns Nagata's boat. Ambrose purchases the group a new boat using gems taken from Alianora's castle of glass. He also works at dispelling the enchantment which Alianora put on Khrom, making him vulnerable to her illusions.

1/23/95
The group leaves Elvenhome.

1/27/95
Simon Carr's army of undead approaches Moscow, only to meet heavy resistance from Russian forces. Progress is slowed, but seems inevitable.
1/28/95
The group's ship progresses as far as it possibly can across the Frozen Sea before the ice gets too thick. The group proceeds on foot across the Frozen Lands.

1/29/95
Oddly, while Fugitive Group C is still crossing the Frozen Lands, Khrom and Sparks appear in Guatemala, courtesy of a portal-pool they will take two days from now.

1/30/95
The group encounters a Draconis Teutonica, which Khrom gloriously kills with a single blow.

In Guatemala, Sparks and Khrom meet Mindy Garrett, a pilot who is an old friend of Sparks, and Kaloob Yewshoot, a Keefee Haroo lallap. They fly to see Arthur Tree for consultation, then return to Guatemala city where they disrupt a sacrifice led by a werejaguar.

1/31/95
The group finds their way to the cave of Corba'al, at The End Of The World. Here, they meet Umbras, who explains the history of himself, Corba'al, and Ta'eesh, and that it's time for Ta'eesh to be completely posessed by Corba'al.

Ta'eesh allows himself to be posessed, hoping to turn this to his advantage, but a battle takes place, with the rest of Fugitive Group C fighting the posessed Ta'eesh. This continues until Ta'eesh, aided by the presence of the Eternal Sword, is able to gain sufficient control to hold his body motionless while Fujiwara kills him.

Ambrose directs Fujiwara to one portal-pool, which will take him to aid Katrina in Russia, while he directs Khrom and Sparks to a different pool, which will take them to Guatemala to deal with zombies. He himself takes yet another pool, to return himself to Oxford.

Near Moscow, most of Simon Carr's army collapses, and the Russians push back the Ayslish lines.

Meanwhile, in Guatemala, Arthur Tree translates the journals of the werejaguar while Sparks and Khrom rest up.
