11/03/93

Tiring of Europe, Sparks decides to return to America.

11/06/93

Back in America, Sparks sees that the situation is just as bad as in Europe, and begins working as a supply runner, driving into the Living Land with supplies for the human resistance.

11/12/93

Arriving at a small town in France, Lon Chaney is declared a demon by the local priest and sentenced to death by fire.

11/15/93

Having completed basic training, the group is assigned to a general reconaissance mission, with emphasis on understanding the expansion of the Cyberpapacy several weeks prior. The party crosses the Cyberpapal reality storm at a site that has worked well in the past.

Upon crossing, Toshi is transformed, gaining a boomer. They are ambushed by a group of Church Police, but beat them. Toshi tries to recross the reality storm and Holmes tries to stop him, resulting in both crossing and having to recross. Holmes ends up transforming, and both become more strongly cybernetic.

They make their way to a nearby town, where they rescue Lon from being burned at the stake.

11/16/93

While resting in a cave, the party is visited by an Ayslish elf calling himself Jack Blue. He makes a number of strange comments, casts a spell that helps Holmes deal with cyberpsychosis, and disappears. The party spends the day resting.

11/17/93

The party sets out again, trekking to Basel. There, they are unable to save a Japanese couple being arrested by Church Police, but do rescue the couple's baby, killing all five Church Police in the process. Cyranno is killed. John Connor, a resistance fighter, joins the group, helping to finish off the Church Police.

After meeting with the underground, and learning that there may be help in Paris, the party leaves. Pursued by fighters, they manage to take them out.

11/18/93

While the rest of the group hides in the mountains with the rescued baby, Fujiwara crosses the reality storm and calls for help from the Germans. He then returns with the help and extracts the rest of the party out of France.

11/19/93

The Cyberpapal storm front expands upward, apparently reaching into low orbit. The why and how of this are not understood. The group is debriefed by Colonel FitzDavid.

11/20/93

The party takes a break to heal their wounds. Toshi receives a careful medical exam, which reveals that his tendons are now artificial and will not grow. This will cause problems when Toshi grows unless steps are taken.

11/27/93

Rested up, the party enters advanced training, provided by Colonel FitzDavid's organization.
