Campaign Timeline

August 1993

8/1/93

Isa, Fujiwara, and Holmes head into Chistlethwaite, to talk with Basher Gallios, source of the shuttle tiles. After some odd encounters, they buy a tile.

8/2/93

The group heads to Salisbury, where they have a talk with Ambrose, who tells them they need to head north. They do so.

8/5/93

The party arrives at a former Royal Army/NATO base north of Newcastle upon Tyne. They investigate, and Isa is captured. Rescue by the Fujiwara and Holmes results in a massive battle with the reanimated corpse that had been Isa's body on Aysle. They find the dying Kent Edgeworth, who is able to tell them that Amethyst, the Dark Wizard, has fled north by boat with the Possibility Chalice.

The party pursues the Dark Wizard's longship through the night, using a boat provided by the sudden appearance of Gerry. They get assistance from some Uvwe and some hindrance from a dragon.

8/6/93

In the middle of the night, getting on towards morning, the party's boat closes with the longship. Their ship is destroyed but the party boards the longship by stealth. After a massive battle, the Dark Wizard, another mage, and about twenty Vikings are killed, but Isa dies in the process. The boat sinks, but the party recovers the Chalice.

With Uvwe assistance, the party makes it back to shore.

8/8/93

The party travels south to Oxford, where they leave Isa's body.

8/9/93

Proceeding to London, the party meets...Isa, who has been reincarnated for the second time in her memory. The group decides to rest while receiving medical care.

8/15/93

Fully rested, the group sets out again. They travel to Newcastle-upon-Tyne to tell the tales of what they've done.

8/17/93

On the way to Dover, they find the dead body of a man who had accosted Holmes in Chistlethwaite. Arriving at Dover, they travel through the tunnel that used to be the unopened Chunnel. They kill a cybertroll named Graal.

8/18/93

Emerging in CyberFrance, the party clashes with and kills a squad of Church Police. They proceed to Calais and spend the night in the barn of a French Resistance member.

8/19/93

The party proceeds to Dunkirk (Duncerque) where they join a stream of refugees straggling towards Paris.

8/20/93

Arriving at Lille, the party finds a cyberlegger who agrees to operate on them. Gerry adds a ChipHolder, Holmes gets an artificial hand, and Fujiwara gets a Compte's Stabilizer. The surgery leaves them weak and needing rest.

8/30/93

Fully rested, the party leaves Lille, heading for the Belgian border. They are attacked by the French Resistance member whose barn they stayed in, who accuses Gerry of being responsible for the Church Police's destruction of his farm.

8/31/93

The group makes it to the border and crosses the stormfront.
