Welcome! This is my research page. I also write young-adult science fiction, under the pen name of Melissa Haegert; see my official writing page: melissahaegert.com

I am a graduate of the University of Arizona's Lunar and Planetary Laboratory, with a Ph. D. in Planetary Science awarded August 2015. My research interests include solar system dynamics of small bodies (asteroids, comets, KBOs), both theoretical modeling and observation. I did my undergraduate work with Dr. Larry Molnar at Calvin College, and my Ph. D. dissertation with Dr. Richard Greenberg at the University of Arizona ("Asteroid Family Dynamics in the Inner Main Belt," available here).
