As expected, Dave cranked it up a notch and delivered a hike to sufficiently challenge us (see great pics and trail info from him HERE). We hiked the Nankoweap trail, accessed from the north rim, and on the N-S trending segment of the river in Marble Canyon. The trail was probably the most difficult and technical I've done overall. We enjoyed having camp near the running Nankoweap Creek, and our day in the backcountry ("over") is probably my favorite day ever in the canyon.
