Recon Trip

BYU Mars Rover Team, Hanksville, March 2008

The BYU Mars Rover Team made a day-long trek from cold, wet Provo to warm, dry Mars to do some instrument tests, geology characterizations, and general site reconnaissance. The instruments worked and didn't work, as expected, and the site promises, perhaps as unexpected, to be full of geological variety and interest.
