Snow in Tucson
22 January, 2007

No, I'm not kidding. It really did snow in Tucson. And not just on the mountains around us either - actually in town! Late afternoon rain on the 21st became snow by about 7pm. I got to spend about an hour outside, walking in falling snow up in the foothills and it was JUST TOO COOL!!! The mountains look amazing today, cacti spikes have snow and icicles hanging from them and, of course, Tucson drivers are in a state of panic. I don't want to hear anything from you snow dwellers - I'm a beach baby, through and through, and this is just fantastic for me! *big grins*
