Atlas of meteorites

As a part of Lunar and Planetary Laboratory, The University of Arizona, we are research group dedicated to study of origin and early history of Solar System. Using meteoritic and simulated materials, and utilizing a wide range of experimental and analytical techniques we study early processes that occured before, during and shortly after formation of our planetary system.
The Nine Circles facilities unclude experimental Inferno and analytical Paradiso laboratories as well as computational equipment and a setup for petrographic study of meteorites. In addition, we benefit from other facilities at LPL and University of Arizona. You can learn about our labs, meet our people and see the active projects using navigation links on this page.

The Nine Circles Experimental Cosmochemistry Group is formed and lead by Dante Lauretta and supported by LPL and NASA.

Our labs and offices are located in Kuiper Space Sciences Building on campus of the University of Arizona and in the Phoenix Science Operations Center building off campus.
