Today we visited the Grand Bazaar, the spice market, and the Mosque of Suleyman. The Suleyman was built 100 years after the Blue mosque by the famous architect Sinan “the great” who built ~ 900 structures. It took him 7 years to build this great mosque. Suleyman, who was also a poet, ruled for 46 years and was revered as one of the greatest. Dinner that night was at the fish market and included 6 kinds of mezas.
