Turkey 3/30

The first thing in the morning we did some exploring in the town of Manavgat.  Note the picture of the carpet shop.  I had been reading about Turkish carpets and have found that the best carpets come from Konya (wool), Swas, Kayseri (wool and silk), and Hereke (wool and silk).  Then we headed through the Toros mountains to the ruin of Phaselis, where the glassware was found.  Then we went on to Olimpos and enjoyed a short beach walk.  After dinner, we drove back to the Olimpos area and hiked to see the flames Chimera.
