The first was on the west side of the valley, taking the ridiculously inclined train up to the Schatzalp Hotel and hiking up to the Strelapass. I went up beyond that towards the Weissfluh mountain, eventually finding that the trail disappeared under snow and the clouds were moving in and literally surrounding me, so I turned back and took a different route back down towards the Schatzalp.
I did the second hike on the other side of the valley with my friend Oleg and his brother Igor. We took the cable car up to the first station on the Jakobshorn, and hiked up from there to the top of the mountain, then took a different route back down to the cable car station.
