Description

The Finger Rock trail follows Finger Rock Canyon into the Santa Catalina mountains north of Tucson, and connects with the Pima Canyon trail that leads to Mt. Kimball. A description of the hike can be found here. The short story is that it climbs over 4,000 vertical feet in about 5 miles, but the pain is rewarded with great views from the top.

Flowing water in Tucson! There was rain the day before, so there was a reasonable amount of water in the canyon.

We all stepped over this fairly obvious warning that this is not the trail, and had to backtrack a little bit
