Day 3: Beamer Trail Back to Tanner Delta

Today was our easiest day, with only about 4-5 miles from our campsite back to the Tanner Delta, although Colin, Morby and I did 4-5 miles more (round-trip) along the Escalante route to the west of Tanner, which gave some great views of the Canyon.

Waking up. It took a while for the Sun to hit where we were sleeping, and was actually quite cold at points during the night.

The look on Morby's face accurately captures the temperature of the river water. With all of the dams along the Colorado, it rarely gets much over 50 Fahrenheit, but most of us tried a brief swim anyway.
