Description

Humphreys Peak is the highest point in Arizona, at 12,633' elevation. We drove up the day before and camped near the trailhead around 9,000'. We took the Humphreys Trail, which is the most direct route to the top (~4.5 miles each way). At the top, there was some rain, strong wind, and then freezing rain, but the weather was otherwise nice for most of the way up and down.
