Description

This hike starts near the top of Mt. Lemmon, in the Catalina Mountains north of Tucson. We started at the Mt. Lemmon Trailhead and took the #5 trail a short distance, then took the Lemmon Rock trail to the Wilderness of Rocks trail and returned via the #5. It was about 8 miles round-trip, with about 2000 feet of elevation change (all of the climbing was at the end).
