My first attempt at a mosaic: (note the pronounced seam between the images)
My second attempt, removing the seam by masking the filtered image with an unfiltered image with the original dimensions, to remove false data around the edges produced by filtering. There is still a small seam between the two images.
A close-up view of the seam in the second image, which is only a few pixels wide.
This image is a closeup of the seam in my third mosaic. I managed to get rid of the pink streak, but now features seem to be displaced on either side of the seam. This displacement only occurs on the left side of the mosaic, near the limb.
This is a later image, showing the top part of the mosaic with another
image added to it.
This image shows a problem I'm having with jagged edges on the limb of one of my images after the reprojection stage.
