Contents

Background

This semester, the Planetary Geology Field Practicum (PTYS 594A) took us to southern Washington and northern Oregon. Our primary targets of study were Mt. St. Helens and its 1980 eruption deposits, the Columbia River flood basalts, and the Channeled Scablands.
