Solar Moderate Conditions at Equinox

Neutral Temperature for Venus, Earth, and Mars at Equator

Venus:
VTGCM equatorial temperatures and their diurnal variations for SMED conditions: T (temperature at LAT = 2.5N, showing large day-night variations. Exospheric values range from a nightside minimum (104.6 K) to a dayside maximum (270.8 K), yielding a day-night contrast of 166 K. Cold mesopause temperatures (170-180 K) appear on the dayside over 100-125 km.

Earth:
TIEGCM equatorial temperatures and their diurnal variations for SMED conditions: T (temperature at LAT = 2.5N, showing large day-night variations. Exospheric values range from a nightside minimum (925 K) to a dayside maximum (1209 K), yielding a day-night contrast of 284 K. Cold mesopause temperatures (~160 K) appear on the dayside near 100 km.

Mars:
MTGCM equatorial temperatures and their diurnal variations for SMED conditions: T (temperature at LAT = 2.5N, showing large day-night variations. Exospheric values range from a nightside minimum (150 K) to a dayside maximum (275 K), yielding a day-night contrast of 125 K. Cold mesopause temperatures (~113-135 K) appear on the dayside over 90-110 km.
