Hello! And welcome to my website!

I am recent graduate from the Department of Planetary Sciences of the University of Arizona in Tucson, Arizona. My primary interest is in solar magnetic fields, and in particular probing their structure and energetics through high-resolution solar spectropolarimetry. Most of my doctoronal work has been done in collaboration with the National Solar Observatory, where I am advised by Dr. Matt Penn. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or curiosities.

Soon I will take on my new positon at the Institute for Astronomy on Maui as the Instrument Scientist for the Diffraction-Limited Near-IR Spectropolarimeter (DL-NIRSP). DL-NIRSP is a facility instrument under development for the new Advanced Technology Solar Telescope (ATST), currently under-construction on the summit of Haleakala on Maui.

Research Interests

Solar magnetic fields, chromospheric energetics, ground-based high resolution observations, spectropolarimetry, astronomical instrumentation
