Producing stereo-derived DTMs through Socet Set also requires specialized hardware. Our current facility has acquired 3 specialized workstations to run 3 of the 5 Socet Set licenses. Each workstation consists of a Dell Precision T7600 running Windows 7 (64-bit) with an Intel Xeon Processor E5-2667 (Six Core, 2.9 GHz, 15M, 8.0 GT/s, Turbo); 32 GB of RAM (DDR3 RDIMM, 1600 MHz, ECC Memory); 2 × Dual Nvidia Quadro K5000 video cards (4 GB, 2 DP + DVIi + DVId), and 12 TB of internal storage (4 × 3 TB, 7200 RPM 3.5” SATA 6 Gb/s Hard Drives). Each workstation also has a Wacom Cintiq 24” touch-screen digitization tablet, Dell UltraSharp 30” Premier Color Monitor, Redrover True3Di 24” Stereo3D Display, and a S2-V 3D-Stealth Mouse.
