If There are Problems

If you believe you have been discriminated against (see Non-Discrimination Policies), the first step is to talk to your supervisor. If you do not feel comfortable talking to your supervisor or your supervisor is involved in the incident, you are encouraged to talk to the Business Office, which handles Human Resources, or the Director's office. If your complaint is unsuccessful, or you have reservations about contacting any of these people, you can contact the Office of Institutional Equity or the Ombuds Office.

There are a broad range of other issues that can negatively affect the well-being of employees and students. The department and the University of Arizona have a wide variety of resources to help if problems arise.  This is not an exhaustive list, but we hope it can point you at a variety of people, departments, and programs on campus to assist you.
