MAPS
The Department of Planetary Sciences and the Lunar and Planetary Laboratory are
housed in the Kuiper and Sonett Space Sciences buildings on the east side of
campus, and in the Michael J. Drake (formerly OSIRIS-Rex, Phoenix) Building on Sixth Avenue between Adams and
Drachman, northwest of campus.
On the UA Campus:
The Kuiper Space Sciences building is located on the east end of the campus Mall, east of Cherry Street, between the Flandrau Planetarium and the Gittings Center. The Sonett Space Sciences Building is also located on the UA Mall, at the northwest corner of Cherry Street and the Mall. The main entrance for each building is from the Mall (University Blvd.), and visitor parking is located one block north, in the metered spaces along the north side of Hawthorne Street east of Cherry.
Off Campus:
The Michael J. Drake Building (formerly OSIRIS-Rex, Phoenix), at 1415 N. Sixth Avenue, has free parking available in front of the main entrance at the northwest corner of Sixth Avenue and Drachman Street.
