Art Drop-off: Friday, November 1st:      9am - 5pm

Saturday, November 2nd:      9am - 5pm 

Location: Kuiper Space Sciences Building, 3rd floor atrium (one floor up from the main entrance)

1629 E. University Blvd., Tucson, AZ

At drop-off we will have you sign a loan agreement to be filed with the university for insurance purposes.            

REMINDER: All artwork must be ready to display upon delivery or risk exclusion from the show. This means all pieces intended to be hung must have a hanging wire or hook. Very small (smaller than 8.5"x11") lightweight pieces that can be hung on a single thumbtack are acceptable as is.

If you need to make special drop-off or pick-up arrangements (i.e. need to use the freight elevator), please email us.

 

Show Dates: Friday, November 15th:      5pm - 9pm

Sat/Sun, November 16-17th:     1pm - 5pm

Winners will be marked/labeled during the exhibition and will be announced via email before the opening reception (except for the People's Choice award)

 

Art Pick-up: Sunday, November 17th:      5pm - 8pm

Monday, November 18th:     9am - 5pm 

Location: Kuiper Space Sciences Building, 3rd floor atrium 

 

Sale of Art:  We will provide a table at the entrance of the event with a binder listing all pieces available for sale, along with your contact information. Interested buyers will be responsible for taking down your contact information and initiating contact with you. There will be room on this table for displaying artist business cards if you choose to bring them. To ensure there is space for each artists’ cards, please do not bring larger advertisements. If you make a sale at or because of this event, we kindly suggest you donate 10%-20% to LPL to help sustain future The Art of Planetary Science events. This donation is not required.

 

Shipping Artwork: If you are unable to drop off your art on the scheduled days, you may ship it to the address below by November 2, 2019. Shipping costs are the responsibility of the artist and all shipped work must arrive in the box and packaging in which it is to be returned, and include a prepaid return shipping label. Any shipped piece that does not come with a prepaid shipping label, or in packaging that cannot be reused must be picked up in person, or it will not be returned. University of Arizona is not liable for any damage that occurs during shipping. If shipping artwork please notify us so that we can email you the loan agreement form. This form, with your signature, must be included with the shipped piece.
