Description

Human imagination has long been captured by the stars, and this piece presents one possible imagining of future space travel. The artist was inspired by science fiction novels and the work of John Berkey. This piece celebrates both the beauty of planets and space and humanity’s place exploring these vistas.

Artist Biography

Jada Walters is a graduate student at the Lunar & Planetary Laboratory studying solar physics. She began painting in 2010, focusing on acrylic painting. Her works primarily feature landscapes, either real or imagined.
