OSIRIS-REx presents a new 321Science video about choosing a target asteroid for this sample return mission. This video explores what circumstances and characteristics make the asteroid, Bennu, the perfect target for the OSIRIS-REx mission. As we think about exploring, mining, even deflecting other asteroids, scientists and engineers will use similar processes to choose future targets.
